Marlon´s father was a visionary. He was one of the first surfcamp operators in Algarve and invested a lot of time and money travelling with Marlon too. I remember this little kid surfing in Ponta Ruiva and you could see he had a lot of energy and strengh already for his age. He become a WT surfer as I slowly walked away from my surfing and started to photograph. Of course he must thought I sucked, knowing all the photo big shot photogs, but I dont care. Because of him I can say I won a WT surfer, it was in a regional contest here, ok he was 16… Here are some photos from him anyway. Congratulations on your recent win kid!
